Mobile Knowledge Welcomes County Cab & Quaker City Cab of Philadelphia
Taxi Company’s Customer Service Goals Include New Technologies to Further Enhance the Experience
It is with great pleasure that Mobile Knowledge Systems Inc. welcomes County Cab and Quaker City Cab of Philadelphia to its rapidly expanding user community. The Companies, both owned and dispatched out of a common facility, have entered into agreements with Mobile Knowledge to deploy the eXpert Dispatch System (“XDS”) for its call center, along with the new TaxiHail Smartphone Booking App that will allow customers to schedule trips and track the dispatched cab on their smartphones. An eXpert AutoCallout Module will alert customers when the cab is arriving on site. In addition, these integrated technologies will include wireless rear-seat Credit Card processing through a Next Generation Passenger Information Monitor from Mobile Knowledge partner Creative Mobile Technologies (CMT).
Seventy (70) vehicles in the County Cab fleet serving Pennsylvania’s Delaware County, and 25 vehicles in the Quaker City Cab fleet serving the City of Philadelphia will be equipped with Mobile Knowledge’s industry-leading, GPS-based Series 2008 Mobile Data Terminal communicating over the Sprint data network. The total package will also include Mobile Knowledge’s MobileNav personal navigation GPS device that automatically provides the driver with both visual and verbal directions to the customer’s pickup and drop-off locations.
