Mobile Knowledge Reunites with St. Louis County & Yellow Cab
Partnership Delivers Advanced Functionality for School Bus and Other Account Work
Ottawa, Ontario, 01 September 2018 – Mobile Knowledge Systems, Inc. and St. Louis County & Yellow Cab today announced the launch and activation of the latest “full-stack” solution set available from the CMT Group of companies. The new system includes many of the most advanced features available to the North American, for-hire ground transportation industry.
Included with the system are the Mobile Knowledge hosted Dispatch, PBX and IVR services, as well as the passenger facing TaxiHail booking platform including iOS and Android apps, web booking, kiosk and concierge facilities.
Drivers and passengers benefit from the DriveLinQ driver app with integrated software taximeter and Creative Mobile Technologies mobile point-of-sale payment devices running in each vehicle. Passengers can also track their assigned vehicle and rate their experience at the end of the trip via advanced SMS capabilities.
Fleet administrators can monitor the performance of operators and overall operations in real-time and from any web connected device, via the fleet analytics portal, measuring more than 100 business intelligence metrics.
In addition to these core features, the companies worked in partnership to extend the capabilities of the system to better address the multi-passenger and multi-stop use cases required for specific accounts serviced by St. Louis County & Yellow Cab.
Kevin French, President of Mobile Knowledge expressed his appreciation for the St. Louis County & Yellow Cab team, “There are few things more gratifying than re-engaging with old friends, and we are more than grateful for this opportunity to renew a relationship that stretches back almost 30 years.”
Jason Peery, General Manager of St. Louis County Cab commented on the project, “The Mobile Knowledge Arcus dispatch system has enhanced our ability to manage complex contracts with our local school boards, while at the same time allowing other corporate accounts direct access to our system to enter and monitor their own bookings. Being able to see the impact of these and other improvements we have made via the comprehensive analytics portal has also enhanced our business.” Mr. Peery continued, “We appreciate the commitment and availability of the Mobile Knowledge team throughout this project, and look forward to collaborating on the implementation of new features for the benefit of our valued drivers, passengers and corporate account clients in the months ahead.”
