Mobile Knowledge Extends Partner Network with the Addition of National Booking App Technology
Startup Company, Arro, Inc., Will Connect With Mobile Knowledge Technologies Worldwide
Ottawa, Ontario, October 3, 2015 – Mobile Knowledge Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader of dispatch technologies for the for-hire and taxi industries, and Arro, Inc., today announced a partnership that will soon bring Arro’s innovative smartphone booking app to Mobile Knowledge customers worldwide.
Arro, Inc., whose technology was incubated out of Mobile Knowledge parent company, Creative Mobile Technologies (CMT), has created a national app for smartphone users that quickly connects riders with existing licensed taxicabs and drivers that are utilizing CMT’s in-vehicle, GPS-based credit card processing equipment. Arro (www.GoArro.com) is currently available only in the New York City Metro area, but will soon be launched in San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. Arro has garnered close to 8,000 New York City yellow and green cabs since its launch in September.
Growth plans call for Arro to be available to all Mobile Knowledge taxi dispatch customers that have deployed the TaxiHail Inc. (www.taxihail.com) branded booking app which is currently in use at more than 150 taxi companies. The combined Mobile Knowledge/CMT user base includes customer operations in more than 150 cities and 5 countries.
